Big news from our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 1st!

Major Changes: New Managing Agents Coming Soon

The Change: Members voted to appoint MBHousing as our new managing agents, replacing Novo Managing Agents.

Effective Date: The official changeover will take place on February 1st, 2026.

This transition will bring updates to contact details and personnel, and we are optimistic that MBHousing will enhance the support and service provided to our community. If you have any questions, please speak with a committee member.

Community Spotlight: Breast Cancer Awareness Tea Raises £500!

‘What a brilliant day!’

We are incredibly proud to share the success of our recent Breast Cancer Awareness Afternoon Tea, organised by our Community and Welfare Officer, Mel. Residents turned out in generous numbers, and thanks to everyone’s kindness and contributions, we raised an impressive £500 for life-saving work!

A huge thank you to Mel for her compassion and energy, and to all those who attended and donated. Your support truly made a difference.

Major Project Update: Tackling the Tarmac Issue

We know the issue with the tarmac coming up has been a long-standing frustration, but we finally have a clear path forward!

Contractor Agreed: The contractor has been confirmed, and we are moving ahead with the repairs.

Bollards Ordered: Bollards are due to arrive in the first week of December. Once they are fitted, the job will be ready to go.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while this has been worked through. The finishing line is in sight, and we will keep you updated as soon as the installation is scheduled.

House Exchange: Full details on the House Exchange mutual exchange platform are now available on the community notice board.

Service Complaints: If a contractor misses an appointment, remember that this qualifies as a Service Complaint.

Website Coming Soon: Look out for our upcoming website! You will be able to request repairs, make a service complaint, or just see what’s going on in the community.

Co-op History: Rochdale, England, is the home of the Rochdale Pioneers, who established the first co-operative society back in 1844.

Good Neighbour Alert: A big thank you to Shirley for helping Fran out when her dear husband was hospitalised. This is what community is all about!
